Creating a New Earth: One Community's Accomplishments for the Week of 5/13/2013

We believe creating a new earth is a process of:
  1. Deciding a new earth model is possible and desirable
  2. Creating a specific strategy and blueprints for accomplishing it
  3. Free-sharing the blueprints so others can duplicate and evolve everything we do for The Highest Good of All
This is the One Community progress updated for the week of 5/13/2013 in our path to accomplishing these three focus points and collaboratively creating this new earth with the people who agree with us that it is possible.

Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligences

Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligences

The Howard Gardner 8 Multiple Intelligences system (which has evolved into the “9 Multiple Intelligences”) is the inspiration for what we are now calling simply “Multiple Intelligences” or “Multi-Intelligence” for short. The original Gardner 8 Intelligences differentiated intelligence into 8 specific (primarily sensory) “modalities” rather than seeing it as dominated by a single general ability. This page is meant to function as an ever-expanding archive of open source, free-shared, and duplicable Howard Gardner 8 Multiple Intelligences inspired ideas that we expect to expand beyond the 9 Intelligences currently identified by the Howard Gardner system. As we expand this component even further we will continue to organize the information here into the primary components of the One Community Education ProgramCurriculum for LifeTeaching Strategies for LifeLearning Tools and Toys for Life, and building The Ultimate Classroom. These components are designed to be combined to create endless “Lesson Plans for Life” purposed to grow and evolve what we feel will be the most comprehensive, effective, and diversely applicable free-education program and resource archive in the world. The One Community Foundations of Teaching, Leadership, and Communicating, combined with a collaborative Evaluation and Evolution Component (Portfolio Creation and Maintenance), help us to further grow and adapt both the program and as individuals...

Spirituality

Spirituality

The spiritual philosophy of One Community is living for The Highest Good of All and Oneness; seeing each of us as expressions of each other and all aspects of spirituality be that Jesus, Buddha, Kali, Krishna, Isis, Mandela, Sofia, Mohammed, Yahweh, Sai Baba, La Virgen Maria, Waka Tankan, Ramana, God, no God, or Something else. We love life and know That which breathes everything, breathes us as well. We do not believe any power that is omnipotent or omnipresent has a use for judgment or punishment and we do our best to live a life of acceptance, love, and understanding for all; and we feel that God/The Universe/The All, or whatever label we wish to call It, does the same. We try and see the Divinity in all things and to honor this Divinity in Us by living an honorable life of gratitude, contribution, cooperation, and service to each other, our planet, and the rest of our species.

Study Technology Methodology

Study Technology Methodology

Study Technology, or Study Tech, is a teaching methodology developed by L.Ron Hubbard, founder of the Church of Scientology (here’s One Community’s Spiritual Philosophy page). According to Study Technology, there are three barriers that prevent students from learning: absence of mass, too steep a gradient, and the misunderstood word and the Study Technology methodology is designed to address these. This page is meant to function as an ever-expanding archive of open source, free-shared, and duplicable Study Technology inspired ideas we reviewed as part of developing the One Community Education Program sections: Curriculum for LifeTeaching Strategies for LifeLearning Tools and Toys for Life, and building The Ultimate Classroom. These components are designed to be combined to create endless “Lesson Plans for Life” purposed to grow and evolve what we feel will be the most comprehensive, effective, and diversely applicable free-education program and resource archive in the world. The One Community Foundations of Teaching, Leadership, and Communicating, combined with a collaborative Evaluation and Evolution Component (Portfolio Creation and Maintenance), help us to further grow and adapt both the program and as individuals.

Bloom's Taxonomy Revised

Bloom's Taxonomy Revised

In doing research on Bloom’s Taxonomy we found a large body of people seeking a Bloom’s Taxonomy revised approach to learning. Bloom’s Taxonomy is just one of the many systems we have researched to create the Education for Life Program and it divides educational objectives into three areas of focus: Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor. The focus of this methodology is that higher levels of achievement are dependent on having attained prerequisite knowledge and the skills at lower levels. A goal of Bloom’s Taxonomy is to motivate educators to focus on all three domains, creating a more holistic form of education. This page is meant to function as an ever-expanding archive of open source, free-shared, and duplicable Bloom’s Taxonomy inspired ideas that we organize into the primary components of the One Community Education ProgramCurriculum for LifeTeaching Strategies for LifeLearning Tools and Toys for Life, and building The Ultimate Classroom. These components are designed to be combined to create endless “Lesson Plans for Life” purposed to grow and evolve what we feel will be the most comprehensive, effective, and diversely applicable free-education program and resource archive in the world. Socioemotional Development and Community

Socioemotional Development and Community

The epitome of socioemotional development for adults is unconditional love; building True Community is a path to creating a supportive environment where it is easier to do this. Putting aside judgment, the need to fix or change each other, and choosing to maintain an environment of people free to be themselves is a natural progression for us as an empathic civilization and collective human consciousness. One Community is designed to support this through a detailed process of seeking those with a consciousness for The Highest Good of All and our commitment to the stages of community building, consensus governing, and our social architecture.

Sustainable Sustainability

We believe humanity has the opportunity to transition to a culture of creation over consumption if we can demonstrate sustainable sustainability, and distinct individual benefit to best practice sustainability, as a model for living a life for The Highest Good of All. To achieve this, we feel demonstrating and open source project-launch blueprinting duplicable models with obvious and measurable benefits is necessary because just to be off the grid, or contribute to the world, does not appear to be enough for most people to make a shift. With this in mind, we feel any sustainability model that is going to be embraced by the mainstream will need to demonstrate significant individual benefit. Broadening sustainability beyond food, energy, and shelter to include more diverse cultural and human needs one of our ways to accomplish this.

Community Project Management Software

Community Project Management Software

The A.C.E. (Accountability – Celebration – Expansion) App is an open source and free-shared web-based application One Community has developed for time tracking and objective data collection. We use it daily to log and organize each of our team’s contribution through on-going records covering all aspects of the growth and evolution of our project as an open source project-launch blueprinting and research and development organization.
As we build One Community as part of a global collaborative of self-sufficient and self-replicating teacher/demonstration communities, villages and cities, we will also be using this application to objectively log, evaluate, share, and collaborate with other communities, villages, and cities interested in working together for The Highest Good of All too. Combining the data of others with our data, we will further the evolution of all project-launch blueprints as open source and free-shared contributions to a global village construction database objectively evaluating and sharing the results of everything from creating a culture of fulfilled living practices to construction times for each component of our infrastructure and more.
