If making a positive difference is presented as easy enough, affordable enough, and attractive enough, it will predictably gain mainstream support and spread on its own. One Community is creating open source food, energy, housing, education, economic, fulfilled living, and earth stewardship components and combining them as a replicable Highest Good society model for people interested in making a positive difference with how they live. We are designing these to be built as a complete and globally-replicable Highest Good of All teacher/demonstration hubs. Lesson Plans for Life: Open Source and Free-shared Education Lesson Plans : One Community
Here are free-shared and open source lesson plans for teaching all subjects, to any learning level, in any environment. They are called "Lesson Plans for Life" and what makes them really unique is that they use a central theme like "Happiness" or "Harmony" or "Relative and Dimensional Space" to teach all the different subjects in a manner that grounds them in foundational concepts beneficial to understanding our interconnectedness and responsibility to each other and our shared planet and future.
Imagine learning Math in the context of "Happiness" or Science in the context of "Highest Good." What would the world be like if we included concepts like this in our traditional educational environments? How would our next generation of leaders and innovators look differently at the world?

Samuel has a doctorate in Neurophysiology from the University of California, San Francisco and a masters in Biology from the University of Cologne, Germany. He is the founder of Green New World a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting holistic sustainable living solutions and co-founder of the eco-village Nuevo Mundo in Guatemala.

Why is it that the current story of sustainability only really focuses on food, energy, housing, and transportation? Isn't emotional sustainability and happiness important too? Is having one without the other even sustainable?
Here's a very detailed plan to merge them both and redefine sustainability to incorporate a more holistic view that includes education, economics, recreation, and the psychology of cooperation and collaboration too.

This has massive potential for helping people visualize a new and more sustainable, artistic and beautiful way of living. By putting the power of 3-D design into the hands of everyone, Google has exponentially increased the creative input and opened the floodgates to new and innovative ideas through this tool.
